When I saw an
advertisement on the internet I said to myself that I want to be there. It
happened on saturday night in Poznań. There was about 200 people,
all thing took place in the castle in the mysterious atmosphere. The
lights were dimmed, the circle of people was sitting on their chairs
and listening carefully. What was that? The event called '' Noc 1001
basni ''. When I first saw the information about that on my facebook
I thought that can be the interesting experience. I always liked the
fairy tailes, but I haver never listened to them live. Of course I
was listening the audiobooks or reading the books with great
stories, but the listening tailes live, that could be more
interesting. I came up in the castle near 9:00 p.m. After a while, I
bought a ticket from the ticket collector and she showed me where to
sit. I looked around and saw the people of all ages. There were the
kids, the students, the old people. First on the scene I saw a man
about 50 who was taking a fairy tail about a boy who found the
treasure. He was telling quite well, he attracted my attention
without any problem but I was hoping for little more. Next one was an
young girl with her tail about the animals. To my surprise she was
very vell, she imitated sounds, she modulated her voice and she was
even screamed once or twice . After that, there was more people who
were telling the stories. Around mindnight I thought it's time to go,
after about 10 stories I was succesfully convinced that there is a
huge different beetwen listening stories on audiobook and listening
to it live.
